Which finish is right for my patio?
Uncovered patio in full sun: heat-reflective acrylic, same family as cool deck, so it's comfortable barefoot. Covered patio or courtyard: stamped overlays open up — heat matters less, so looks can lead. We bring samples of both to the estimate.
Can you resurface the patio and pool deck together?
Yes, and it's the best-looking way to do it — one continuous color and texture across the whole backyard instead of a visible seam where two projects met. One mobilization also means one round of prep and cure instead of two.
How long before we can use the patio again?
Light foot traffic in 24–48 hours; give it 3–7 days of full cure before furniture goes back. Most patios are 1–2 days of actual work.
Do I need a permit to resurface a pool deck in Phoenix?
Resurfacing an existing deck is normally maintenance — no permit — since we're not changing the structure, the pool, or the barriers. If your project grows into new decking footprint or barrier changes, that's a different conversation and we'll flag it during the estimate.
